LaTeX template for writing doctoral theses at the University of Murcia (UMU), based on the requirements established by the EIDUM (Escuela Internacional de Doctorado de la Universidad de Murcia). Adapted from the original ipleiria-thesis template by José Areia, it has been carefully modified to comply with the stylistic and structural standards mandated by the UMU . Configurable in Spanish and English, with several chapter styles, print and screen layouts, glossary, list of acronyms, bibliography and syntax-highlighted source code. It also compiles locally on Windows, macOS and Linux. Requires XeLaTeX : the template uses fontspec and will not compile with pdfLaTeX. If you upload the files to a new project, remember to set the compiler in the project menu. Distributed under the LaTeX Project Public License v1.3c, like the original template. This is a complete multi-file project. LaTeX Editor creates it with pdflatex, TeX Live 2026 and main.tex as the main document.
